Miscare destul de disperata (si penibila) de a mai castiga jucatori in fata competitoriilor (PUBG, Fortnite) ... In loc sa isi rezolve nenumaratele probleme pe care le au, atat cu instabilitatea serverelor, cheater-ii la ordinea zilei, anticheat ce are o rata de detectie slaba, lor arde de astfel de miscari de marketing si "panarama" mode...

Counter-Strike 1.6 nu mai este baza de mult timp, raportat la numarul de jucatori Steam CS:GO > CS 1.6. Pe NonSteam situatia sta invers pentru Counter-Strike 1.6, fiind inca baza. Acesta nu va putea omora definitiv prea curand Counter-Strike 1.6, va mai trece mult timp pana la asa ceva, dar numarul de jucatori si de servere va scade continuu. Originally Posted by ~AngeL~

In plus, unele dintre motivele pentru care acest joc este tinut in viata sunt nostalgia, posibilitatea de a lua admin pe diverse servere, cerintele de resurse necesare pentru a rula jocul sunt reduse si sa nu uitam de servere ieftine (comparativ cu restul jocurilor care ofera posibilitatea de a detine un server).
Nu o sa devina free niciodata. Aveau ocazia de marketing buna de a o face si de a isi depasi concurenta, avand in vedere ca exista castig din skin-uri. Probabil nu si-au dorit sa o faca din cauza castiigurilor datorate jucatoriilor care merg pe mentalitatea "am luat ban VAC, creez un nou cont de Steam si cumpar un nou CSGO".
