Hello

I want to learn about a player's degree of ban.
I do not know anything other than his steam id.

He told me he was banned for scanning too many times so I've looked into your post about wcd ban info and I could not find anything related to scanning too many times only changing the unique id multiple times.Also his history is clean.
There has been couple of cases like this.
I do not know how to approach this subject(player's cheating or not) so it would be great if you could tell me the degree of his ban and reasons for banning from wcd or let me know if there is a detailed post about it.

Secondly, I want to know what does "Heuristic Detection" mean also if there is a way to remove it from my scan history(some people said to format my computer).I got this result in one of my scans.At that time I downloaded a game from Steam(one of those free rpg style games) and the game installed something like gameguard on its own and when I used wg, the result was heuristic detection.Well It was fixed when I unistalled the game and that program there were no more detections but it stil remains in detection history.

1) Banned since 01.2024, it seems to be a false positive. He didn't report it as an issue, so:

Of course it can generate FPs in some specific cases (e.g.: malware injected in your game, video driver artefacts/leaks, etc.) and that's why it's important to report this issue as soon as possible with the required game memory dump.
