Filmarea a fost facuta in pestera Cenote Angelita (Micul Inger), din Mexic, de catre scafandrul Anatoly Beloshchin. Pestera e un loc perfect pentru scufundari, primii 30 de metrii fiind formati din apa dulce, apoi 90 de metri din apa sarata. Straturile de apa fiind separate de un "rau", de fapt e o iulizie optica, "raul" fiind un strat de hidrogen sulfurat.
